Twin Peaks: The Return Cast

While Mr C burns in the Black Lodge, Mike uses Dougie’s golden seed and Cooper’s hair to create another doppelgänger; he sends this new Dougie home to an elated Janey-E and Sonny Jim. After losing Laura in the woods, FBI Special Agent Cooper is transported back to the Black Lodge, where Mike leads him to the Arm; Laura Palmer appears and whispers in Cooper’s ear, but is pulled away by a force. After meeting Leland Palmer again, Cooper returns to Glastonbury Grove, where Diane is waiting. Following the Giant’s message, Cooper and Diane drive down a highway for exactly 430 miles; sensing an electrical field from the pylons nearby, Cooper drives forward slowly, entering a portal that transports them through time. Stopping at a hotel, Cooper books a room while Diane sees another version of herself, which then vanishes. Cooper and Diane take room 7 and have sex; but when Cooper awakes the next morning Diane has gone, leaving behind a curious goodbye note addressed to ‘Richard’ from ‘Linda’. Cooper drives to Odessa, Texas and stops at ‘Judy’s Coffee Shop’; he saves a waitress from being harassed by gun-toting cowboys, then obtains the address of another waitress, who has the day off. Arriving at this house, Cooper sees a telegraph pole marked with ‘6’, and meets a woman called Carrie Page, who resembles Laura Palmer; she accepts his offer to visit Twin Peaks, clearly running from the corpse of a man in her living room with a gun wound in his forehead. After a long journey, Cooper and Carrie arrive at the Palmers’ house in Twin Peaks; but the owner, Alice Tremond, has never heard of Sarah Palmer. Returning to the street, a confused Cooper asks Carrie what year it is. Before she can answer, Carrie hears Sarah Palmer calling Laura’s name; she screams - and the lights in the house go out…
